It’s early afternoon in San Diego, CA. The clouds lazily drift across the blue sky. Palm trees sway carelessly off to one side. Cars race up and down the Cabrillo Freeway towards downtown.
People of all ages are enjoying Balboa Park on a sunny afternoon, stolling down the open walkways and popping out from each corner of the park. Light casts through the long tunnels leading to architectural jewels. It’s a perfect day to be in the center of it all.
Night rolls up and the streets come alive in each district of the city. Little Italy, Gaslamp Quarter and Old Town reveal their own flair. People laugh and bounce from one hot spot to the next. A man plays saxophone on the street corner. Strings of lights, strung from pole to pole, flicker as the moon pops up over palms trees silhouetted against the night sky.
The city is alive and full of energy. There’s no better place to be than San Diego.
