Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to discover a rewarding scene. During the springtime, amidst the surrounding desert landscape of Boise, it’s easy to discover a sprinkling of colorful sprigs, buds and blossoms throughout the Treasure Valley. Over a couple days this spring, I walked around east Boise and over to the Boise Greenbelt to see what I could find. Since the days are quickly shifting to warm summer nights, here’s a glimpse of spring fever before it all fades away.
